The conference series provides an international forum for presentation of new results, techniques and instruments from low frequency radio facilities.
1) The meeting should last about 3 days, with a mix of invited and contributed talks.

3) There should be ample time in the program for questions and discussion.
4) Invited talks should promote a diverse set of speakers as regards to career level, demographics, and geography.
5) Members of the meeting SOC should not typically be invited speakers. They may be called upon to chair sessions.
6) Registration cost of the meeting should be kept low (under $200/person) to encourage participation. This places a bit more of a burden on the host institute which should be kept in mind when proposing to host.
7) The meeting should preferentially be scheduled between late November and early January so that teaching faculty have the opportunity to attend. Deviations from this are allowed in response to other considerations. Try to avoid overlap with the American Geophysical Union (AGU) annual meeting in early December.
8) Representation of the steering committee is drawn primarily from the Directors of low frequency facilities.
