Due to the heavy oversubscription factor of SALFVII, we offer the participants the option of uploading a lightning talk. These talks are <2 minutes long and no more than 2 slides. Please upload your talk with the filename lastname_firstname.mp4 to https://www.dropbox.com/request/C2wCpXPlZDPYX1WFY66i. Everyone that is a participant of SALFVII is able to submit one talk. We particularly encourage students to upload a lightning talk on their work.
The talks are available on the SALF youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKgdIEJF8-rv1jsnzHt3aSQ and please advertise the talk in the #lightning_talks SLACK channel when you have been told the talk is on the channel.
Below is an example of how to record and upload a talk using Zoom but there are lots of options to record, so feel free to contact Joe Callingham via SLACK or email if you need help.
